This Privacy Policy describes how Sefik Cevik ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in the Numtopia mobile application (the "App"). Numtopia is designed for children and built around a privacy-first, offline-first approach.

Our privacy-first approach
Numtopia is intentionally designed to minimize data collection. We want parents to feel comfortable handing the device to their child.
- No analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any other analytics SDK in Numtopia.
- No advertising. Numtopia does not contain ads and does not integrate any advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No third-party tracking. We do not share data with advertising networks, data brokers, or social platforms.
- No account required. Numtopia does not require sign-up, login, email, or a username.
- No personal information collected by us. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, location, contacts, or any similar personal data.
What stays on the device
All learning progress is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us. This includes:
- Child profile names and avatars you create inside the App.
- Stars, levels, achievement progress, and worksheets.
- Parent area settings such as time limits and difficulty preferences.
If you delete the App, this data is removed from the device along with it.
Information collected automatically
Numtopia does not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, usage analytics, crash logs, or any similar data on our servers. We do not operate a backend that receives data from the App.
The mobile operating system (iOS or Android) may, independently of us, report basic information such as app install events or system-level crash reports to the platform owner (Apple or Google) as part of normal platform operation. This is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies and is not data that we receive or process.
In-app purchases
Numtopia offers optional one-time purchases to unlock additional learning worlds. There are no subscriptions.
- Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store (and, where applicable, the Google Play Store). We do not receive your payment information, billing address, or credit card details.
- The App receives a purchase receipt from the platform to unlock the relevant content on your device. We do not store this receipt on our servers.
- For purchase history, refunds, family sharing, or "Ask to Buy" controls, please use your Apple ID or Google account settings.
Permissions
Numtopia does not request access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, or other sensitive device features.
If a future version of the App ever needs an additional permission for a specific feature, it will be requested in-app at the time the feature is used, and you can decline or revoke it at any time in your device settings.
Children's privacy
Numtopia is designed for children and is intended to be installed and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
- We comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, including provisions for minors (GDPR-K).
- Because Numtopia does not collect personal information and does not send data off-device, there is nothing for us to delete from our servers about your child. To clear data, simply remove a child profile inside the App's parent area, or uninstall the App.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through any means, please contact us at ceviks@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
Customer support
If you email us for support, we will receive the email address and message contents you choose to send. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.
Sharing of information
Because we do not collect personal information through the App, there is nothing for us to sell or share with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. We do not sell or share personal information.
We may disclose information you send us directly (for example, a support email) only if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or others.
Data retention
We do not store data from the App on our servers. Data created inside the App lives on your device until you remove it (by deleting profiles, clearing app data, or uninstalling).
Support emails you send us are retained only as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable history of correspondence.
Data security
Because Numtopia operates offline and does not transmit personal information, the surface area for data loss is intentionally small. We still recommend you protect the device with a passcode and keep your operating system up to date.
International users
The App can be used anywhere it is available on the App Store. Since the App does not transmit personal information to us, there is no international transfer of personal data caused by your use of the App.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you. Because we do not collect personal information through the App, in most cases we will not have any data tied to you. If you have contacted support, you may email us at ceviks@gmail.com to request access to or deletion of your support correspondence.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. If changes affect how we handle data in a meaningful way, we will provide additional notice in the App or on our website.
